Privacy Policy

Effective August 6, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Cyanora Player ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the Cyanora Player application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge this policy.

2. Information we process

Cyanora Player is designed to play media with minimal data collection. Depending on the features you use, we may process:

  • Local media and playback data. File paths, playlists, playback position, preferences, and history may be stored locally on your device.
  • Technical diagnostics. App version, device type, operating system, and crash information may be collected to improve reliability.
  • Support messages. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide.

3. How we use information

We use information only to provide playback features, remember your settings, diagnose problems, respond to support requests, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

Your local media files are not uploaded to us simply because you open or play them in Cyanora Player.

4. Online media and third parties

When you open a remote media URL, your device connects to the relevant host. That provider may receive technical information such as your IP address and user agent under its own privacy policy. App distribution, payments, and crash reporting may also be handled by platform providers subject to their policies.

5. Storage and security

Local settings remain on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise. We use reasonable safeguards for information we control, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

6. Retention and your choices

You can clear local playback history and app data through Cyanora Player or your operating system. Support correspondence and essential records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
